ICP Group is looking to hire a Warehouse Manager who will support our Phoenix, AZ facility. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for coordinating all timely outbound shipment activities to meet customer requirements and all inbound receiving functions to support plant operations while ensuring a high level of inventory accuracy. Manager will oversee the finished goods and raw material warehouses with focus on operating in the safest most efficient manner possible.

ICP Group is looking to hire a Warehouse Manager who will support our Phoenix, AZ facility. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for coordinating all timely outbound shipment activities to meet customer requirements and all inbound receiving functions to support plant operations while ensuring a high level of inventory accuracy. Manager will oversee the finished goods and raw material warehouses with focus on operating in the safest most efficient manner possible.
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
- Follow all company and OSHA mandated safety rules.
- Coordinate and dispatch outbound loads utilizing Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Establish shipping schedules based on requested ship dates and plant capacity.
- Communicate with production to ensure material is available for customer and interplant shipments.
- Direct daily tasks of order pickers, forklift drivers and local truck drivers to facilitate on-time, in-full shipments to customers.
- Communicate often with carriers regarding service performance, expectations and rates
- Prepare pick tickets for order pickers and loaders.
- Audit pick tickets for accuracy and complete shipments in the ERP system.
- Properly complete Bills of Lading, packing slips, pallet labels and other required documentation as required by various customers.
- Monitor safe operation of forklifts, wrapping machines, racking systems and other devices within the department.
- Ensure shipping staff is properly trained on all equipment and completes daily inspections as required by OSHA as it relates to forklifts.
- Train staff on proper procedures for loading flatbeds, van trailers and containers, in addition to properly securing that equipment before loading.
- Run daily reports to help prepare shipment schedule and staffing requirements.
- Prepare reports as needed using excel to communicate to other departments.
- Maintain warehouse and shipping area in a clean and organized manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or proven track record within a Logistics and warehouse management position.
- Must have 5 years of experience dispatching shipments to LTL and over the road carriers.
- Solid understanding of truck equipment such as flatbeds, vans and overseas containers.
- Previous management of warehouse staff including forklift drivers.
- Strong background in material movement and inventory management including cycle counting.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with all levels of staff in a professional and considerate manner.
- Must be able to work effectively with other departments.
- Experience working within an industrial environment.
- The ability to lead by example, mentor, encourage, and discipline when necessary.
- Experience utilizing a TMS system to manage freight.
- Experience developing and implementing improvement projects.
- Strong computer skills with Excel, ERP systems.
- Experience using warehouse management systems.
