  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders across R&D, Sales, Finance, and Operations to implement a cohesive product management framework that ensures effective planning, coordination, and success across the Roofing business unit.
  • Build and Manage a Product Management Team: Lead and influence a team that thrives on customer interaction, embraces innovation, and champions a data-driven, "listen-and-learn" approach to execution, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Competitive Strategy Development: Conduct in-depth customer, competitive, and market assessments to identify opportunities for growth, providing the business with a competitive advantage in each product category.
  • Product Development Best Practices: Provide extensive training on product development cycles, product introduction, life cycle management, and financial/market analysis to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Influence Organizational Commitment: Drive commitment across the organization to support the product management strategy, including aligning the board of directors and senior leadership.
  • Lifecycle Alignment: Establish alignment across the division on the roles of each function throughout the product life cycle process, ensuring smooth execution from concept to launch.
  • Formulate Objectives and Strategies: Collaborate on the development of objectives and strategies for the business while driving all functional areas to achieve optimal outcomes for the division.
  • Cultivate a Collaborative and Innovative Culture: Promote a culture focused on collaboration, customer interaction, and innovation, reinforcing a data-driven, consultative approach to execution.
  • Product Launch and Financial Management Training: Provide extensive training on best practices for product launches, inventory management, category management, and financial analysis to ensure successful market execution.
  • Maintain Key Stakeholder Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders in sales, operations, and other functional areas, ensuring alignment and promoting a collaborative organizational culture.

Requirements:
  • Ten or more years of progressive product management experience in a building products environment, with roofing experience being essential.
  • A hands-on management style suited for a middle-market, highly dynamic environment. Experience in an entrepreneurial, private equity-backed company is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in developing product strategies and roadmaps, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer solutions and drive revenue growth. Familiarity with strategic planning processes is required.
  • Expertise in product marketing with a focus on developing go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging that effectively communicate the value of products to target audiences. Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
