ICP Group is seeking a motivated Sr. Project Manager.  In this role, you will lead cross-functional business and engineering teams to successfully deliver strategic projects and portfolio initiatives. This role is accountable for managing project execution from concept through completion, ensuring alignment to business goals across cost, quality, timing, and performance. Operate with a strong project management skill set, stakeholder savvy, and a drive for continuous improvement.

In this role you will be responsible for the following:
 
  • Lead cross functional business and engineering teams through assigned BU projects from inception to completion, and ensuring they meet aggressive timing, performance, cost and quality objectives.
  • Drive the adoption of Stage-Gate methodologies and enterprise tools to guide project progression, enhance visibility, and promote process discipline across teams. Ensure timely, accurate gate reviews and reporting on all assigned initiatives
  • Maintain accurate financial tracking of capital and expense targets throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee and motivate all functional areas during development to meet key deliverables (Engineering, Codes & Compliance, Marketing, Sourcing, Finance, Quality, and Manufacturing).
  • Maintain clear, timely communication of project status through regular reviews and milestone tracking. Monitor project health using defined KPIs, proactively address risks or blockers, and ensure sustained progress toward business objectives.
  • Conduct post-launch audits to assess project performance, identify gaps in expected profitability, and capture insights to drive future improvements.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and scope changes with agility, leading teams through ambiguity with a solution-focused, flexible approach.
  • Manage day to day priorities of critical path resources when necessary to help drive results.
  • With BU leadership, implement enterprise project & portfolio management tools to plan, track, and coordinate project activities. Responsible for assuring process discipline within project teams.
  • Utilize product development process to develop BU portfolio platform architectures that meet business requirements of cost, quality, timing, customer expectations and applicable standards.
  • Ensure projects launch on time and meet deliverable requirements. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques in order to keep the project plan accurate and updated, escalating risks appropriately, and enabling informed, proactive decision-making.
  • Align active and pipeline projects across strategic workstreams, including Continuous Improvement (CI), Run-the-Business (RTB), New Product Development (NPD), Product Marketing, and Innovation. Ensuring resource availability and value-driven prioritization within the full portfolio.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business or related field is required; an advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Sciences, or Supply Chain is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience successfully leading multiple cross-functional teams in a fast-paced new product development environment, utilizing project management methodologies and project execution best practices; PMI PMP certified, and advanced MS Project skills are preferred.
  • Experienced at identifying needs, assigning roles and responsibilities, and leading cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement tools necessary for effective project and portfolio management.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply discipline in the use of project management toolset (scope, schedules, budgets, reports, risk management, updates).
  • Demonstrated capital and expense budgeting for moderate scale projects as well as experience with project financial measures and metrics.
  • Ideal candidate will have Consumer goods or building products experience.
