ICP Group’s Environmental Restoration Group (ERG)—the industry leader behind the Fiberlock and Benefect brands—is seeking a high-energy, strategic, and results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales organization across the United States and Canada. Our ERG division provides innovative environmental solutions for the restoration, abatement, HVAC, construction, and environmental industries through multiple distribution channels.

This individual will oversee a team of six Territory Sales Managers and two independent manufacturing representative agencies, driving market penetration, revenue growth, and customer engagement across all regions. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in the restoration and abatement industry and is familiar with asbestos, lead, mold, fire, and IAQ-related fields. This position requires up to 50% travel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Strategic Direction
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Territory Sales Managers and oversee two rep agencies to achieve company sales and profit objectives.
  • Develop and execute regional and national sales strategies that align with organizational goals for growth, profitability, and brand expansion.
  • Participate in annual sales planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
  • Establish clear objectives, KPIs, priorities, and performance standards for the team.
  • Business Development & Customer Engagement
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across distribution channels, contractors, restoration firms, and key industry influencers.
  • Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through regular visits, presentations, demonstrations, and technical support.
  • Build and manage relationships with distributors, installation contractors, general contractors, specifiers, building owners, and environmental professionals.
  • Utilize industry specifications, plans, and building notifications to maintain and grow a national project pipeline.
  • Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
  • Conduct market research and gather intelligence on competitors, market share, product performance, and emerging opportunities.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations for market expansion, product positioning, and channel optimization.
  • Maintain up-to-date opportunity lists, sales reports, and territory performance metrics.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Director of Product Management and other functional division leads (technical services, marketing, finance, etc), to ensure customer needs are met and sales initiatives are successful.
  • Coordinate with marketing on trade shows, conferences, educational events, and regional training programs.
  • Support product stewardship and drive education initiatives within distribution and end-user networks.
  • Field Support & Representation
  • Deliver customer training through live demos, webinars, and educational sessions.
  • Assist with national, regional, and international trade show planning and participation.
  • Solve field challenges by understanding applications, specifications, and technical requirements.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of proven sales leadership experience, ideally within the restoration, abatement, construction, or environmental products industries.
  • Demonstrated success managing regional or national sales teams and independent reps.
  • Strong familiarity with asbestos, lead, mold, fire, and IAQ-related products, applications, and regulations.
  • Proven ability to develop new business, manage existing accounts, and lead teams in achieving revenue goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working through distribution networks and managing multi-channel sales.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM expertise (Salesforce preferred).
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time-management capabilities.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% across the US and Canada.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with specification selling, construction project cycles, and installation workflows.
  • Established network within restoration, abatement, construction, or building materials sectors.
  • Technical aptitude to understand products, applications, and field challenges.
